![]() Today we shot Michelle and Craig's wedding at the Sebel Resort & Spa, Hawkesbury Valley. The couple did not wish to get photos before the ceremony, which was held in the chapel on the grounds at the Sebel, so that is where our day started. After this, we headed for the shade to get some photos on the grounds as it was a very hot and bright day. The reception was held in one of the function rooms at the Sebel. Aside from the heat, it was a great day and we were able to get lots of beautiful photos for Michelle and Craig. Congratulations guys! Model Shoot - Kacy 11/09/2009
![]() On the same day we shot James we also shot Kacy. She was a great model who did everything she was asked without question, even jumping in cold water. It was a real pleasure to shoot Kacy and im sure she will go far in her modelling career. Thanks Kacy, you and James were alot of fun, and Id be happy to shoot either of you again sometime. Model Shoot with James 11/08/2009
![]() Today we shot James, We got up early for the drive to Point Piper for a shoot on the beach. It was a private beach named Seven Shillings Beach. What a Great Spot, Not many people around and plenty of opportunities to shoot different scenes. It was shame about the weather as we had to stop and start all the time with the drizzle, but we got through it. This is the first Male Model we have shot and it is quiet different. Hats off the James for being the guinea pig. ![]() This wedding was a little bit out of the ordinary. Lauren and Glen got married in Victoria and they asked us to travel down there to shoot their wedding for them. So, this wedding was an entire weekend! It started on Friday (16th) where we caught a bus, train, plane and then drove (yep all in one day!!) for a total of 8 hours to finally end up in Horsham, VIC. The next morning, it was off to the local beauty parlour for Lauren and her bridesmaid (also named Lauren, just to confuse things!) to get their hair and makeup done. Then, Leanne was dropped off at Stawell, where the boys were getting ready while Brett and the girls went on to Seppelt Winery Great Western, where they were getting ready and the wedding was being held. Luckily, the rain held out and they were able to have their ceremony outdoors as originally planned. Then it was off to the vineyard for some photos, before the reception started. We were also able to go into the tunnels underneath the winery, where all the wine is stored, and this made for some very unique and stunning shots. After the reception, we headed back to Stawell for the night before heading home (another 8 hour trip by car, plane and train!) the next morning. It was a great experience, and certainly something different as we do not encounter many winery weddings in the Sydney Metro area! Congratulations to Lauren and Glen. Maria's Model Shoot 10/29/2009
Had a model by the name of Maria drop by one evening for some studio type photos. It was late night, we were tired, Maria was tired after travelling from another state but we managed to get some nice shots. We are quite happy with how they came out. Maria and Andrew - Second Camera 10/29/2009
![]() Did a second camera shoot for another photographer for Maria and Andrew's wedding on the 11th October, 2009. The pre-wedding shoot with the boys was a little bit rushed but we managed some nice shots. The church itself was in Beverly Hills and the inside was lit up with ample natural light pooring in making for an easy shoot. The garden photos were taken at Callan Park which is a great place with plenty of opportunity for photos and a personal favourite. As a second photographer, my day ended here. Congratulations to Maria and Andrew. Amanda & Brad's Wedding - 10th October, 2009 10/21/2009
![]() Today we photographed Amanda and Brad's wedding. The girls were getting ready at the Meriton on Pitt, and we got some stunning photos there. The boys wanted to go to the Greenwood Hotel for a few drinks and some photos before the ceremony, however it was closed so after a couple of photos outside the pub they headed off down the street to the Commodore Hotel. The ceremony was held at Mary Mackillop Chapel in North Sydney. Then it was off to Blues Point Reserve, Jeffrey's Street Wharf and The Rocks for some beautiful Harbour shots. After that, we headed to The Argyle at The Rocks for the reception. This was a nice, enjoyable wedding, congrats to Amanda and Brad. ![]() Today we shot Mariam and Victor. It was unfortunate for the weather, with a few showers and had to move the ceremony from outdoors in the Botanical Gardens to under a pergola and slight drizzle on the first location which was Mrs Macquarie's Chair. After that, the rain stopped for location shoots at Hyde Park, The Rocks and Balmoral Beach before going to The Spit for the reception. Mariam and Victor are a very happy and energetic couple which helped make creative photos easier to achieve. Thanks Mariam and Victor. ![]() Today we were asked to shoot a wedding which was a little different from the norm. Jarupa and Chris were already married 12 months ago overseas, and decided to have a Renewal of Vows Ceremony for their family and friends here in Australia. The ceremony was held at Sydney Rowing Club, in Abbotsford. This was a very nice venue, with lots of water views and photo spots for the couple. The staff here were really great, it was one of the best venues we have been to so far. Unfortunately for Jarupa and Chris, it was raining on their day, which meant that their ceremony had to be moved inside and that limited our ability to get photos, however we soldiered on and Jarupa and Chris were great about going out in the rain!! Despite the weather we still got some beautiful shots. Congratulations to Jarupa and Chris. ![]() Today we travelled down south, to Wollongong to shoot Danielle and Jim's wedding. The day started with the girls at Wombarra, where they had hired a beautiful house with a gorgeous verandah overlooking the water. We got lots of photos of Danielle, the girls and her two kids, Dylan and Dakoda who were also in the bridal party. Then it was off to Glastonbury Gardens, Austinmer for the ceremony. This was a pretty little park and once the ceremony was finished we got some really nice photos there. After that we went to Mike Dwyer Reserve, which overlooks the water. This was a beautiful location for photos, but we had to hurry as we lost the sun over the mountains behind us and ran out of light!! The reception was at Scarborough Bowling Club, where we stayed until the end of the bridal waltz and then headed off for the drive home. It was a very nice backdrop for a wedding, and Danielle and Jim were a happy, friendly couple and we enjoyed taking photos of their day for them. Congratulations Danielle and Jim. |
